Independent researcher working on Christian personalism, with particular interests in the thought of Dietrich von Hildebrand, the philosophy of values, and the spiritual formation of the laity. He has presented papers at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross and the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome. He is the organizer of the Congress “Remembering the Cristeros: Truth, Empathy, and Reconciliation One Hundred Years Later” and collaborates with the Anacleto González Flores Chair in developing academic and cultural initiatives surrounding the centenary of the Cristiada. He divides his time between Portland and San Francisco.

Cristian Mendoza Ovando

Professor of Catholic Social Doctrine

Pontifical University of the Holy Cross

Father Cristian Mendoza is a Catholic priest and Extraordinary Professor of Catholic Social Doctrine in the School of Theology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. He also teaches in the School of Church Communications on the economic dimension of the Catholic Church and is a Visiting Scholar at IPADE Business School. He was a Resident Fellow at Harvard Divinity School. His research and teaching focus on Catholic social doctrine, the common good, poverty, subsidiarity, economics and social responsibility, as well as the relationship between institutional communications and the life of the Church. He is the author of numerous books and scholarly articles, including En busca de lo indispensable: Una propuesta actual en torno a la pobreza y al bien común and La pobreza como problema humano. He is a Catholic priest incardinated in the Prelature of Opus Dei.

Juan Martín Gama Jaramillo

Cátedra Anacleto González Flores

Juan Martín Gama Jaramillo is a Mexican historical researcher and lecturer. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac and pursued undergraduate studies in History at the Universidad de Guadalajara, as well as a diploma in Mexican History from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He is founder and coordinator of the Cátedra Anacleto González Flores and head of the Guardia Nacional Cristera in Guadalajara. His research and public lectures have focused particularly on the history of Mexican Catholic movements, Anacleto González Flores, and the Cristiada. In 2026 he participated in the organization of the First National Cristero Congress and delivered a lecture on the mobilization of Mexican Catholics between 1920 and 1926, during the years immediately preceding the Cristero uprising.

Leticia González-Luna Mendoza

Leticia González-Luna Mendoza holds a master’s degree in Family Education from Universidad Panamericana. She has devoted much of her career to the promotion of life and the family and to civil society participation in matters related to education, human rights, and public policy. She is president of Voz Pública A.C. and a cofounder of CONFAMILIA ABP and México es Uno con los Niños. She has participated in the World Meetings of Families in Mexico and Philadelphia, as well as in international meetings in Rome and forums organized by the United Nations and ECLAC. From 2011 to 2015, she hosted the radio program Al rescate de tu familia.

Maria Rocha, originally from Portugal, is a doctoral candidate at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, where she is preparing a dissertation on the Italian writer and poet Cristina Campo. She holds a degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of philosophy, liturgy, literature, and Christian thought.

Amado Martín Vázquez Martínez

Amado Martín Vázquez Martínez is a Mexican journalist, author, professor, and historical communicator with more than four decades of experience in journalism, editorial leadership, and institutional communications. He has worked as a reporter, correspondent, editor, and director in print, radio, and digital media, while also teaching specialized journalism, communications, public speaking, and values education. He has participated as a speaker in conferences on scientific and religious journalism and in forums addressing society and religion. In recent years, he has devoted particular attention to communicating Mexico’s religious history, delivering lectures on Anacleto González Flores and the Cristiada. An accomplished public speaker, he has received 37 awards in national, state, municipal, and university oratory competitions. He is also the author of novels, essays, chronicles, and works on journalism.

María Teresa Angulo Guillermo

María Teresa Angulo Guillermo es especialista en relaciones internacionales, seguridad y pensamiento político, con formación académica en Columbia University, Sciences Po Paris y la Universidad de las Américas Puebla, y experiencia profesional en instituciones de Europa, Estados Unidos y América Latina, incluyendo el Parlamento Europeo y proyectos vinculados con la política de seguridad estadounidense. Su trabajo se ha concentrado en seguridad internacional, crimen organizado, relaciones transatlánticas y cooperación entre Europa y América Latina. Paralelamente, ha desarrollado una formación en personalismo, pensamiento social católico y filosofía política, participando en programas del Hildebrand Project, Thomistic Institute, Abigail Adams Institute y otras instituciones. Actualmente codirige la línea de investigación «Pensar la seguridad como un bien común» del Instituto Promotor del Bien Común.
